  The Jackson State Bank & Trust Policy On Customer Confidentiality and Privacy of Information
The Privacy of Consumers Financial Information (Regulation P) is a law that mandates that banks disclose a privacy policy that explains their business practices with regards to protecting your non-public personal (private) information. Although Regulation P was enacted in 1999, confidentiality has been the foundation of The Jackson State Bank & Trust's business practices since the beginning. Accordingly, we have always maintained a strong privacy policy that establishes the highest priority over protecting the confidentiality of our customers. We realize that you place a tremendous amount of trust in us by choosing The Jackson State Bank & Trust as your financial partner. Below is our disclosure explaining how we maintain and protect your private information.

Notice Of Your Financial Privacy Rights
This notice is to inform the public and our customers of The Jackson State Bank & Trust's privacy practices. For your convenience, the following terms, in bold, are first defined and then used in this policy:

We, our and us means The Jackson State Bank & Trust of Jackson, Wyoming. You and your means our customers who have a continuing relationship with us, such as:
 • Deposit accounts (e.g., checking, savings, money market);
 • Loan accounts for personal or household purposes;
 • Safe deposit box for personal or household use;
 • Individual Retirement Accounts.


Non-public personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing financial products or services to you. Non-public personal information, does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. However, it is The Jackson State Bank & Trust’s policy to regard all customer information as non-public personal information because we obtained it from you.

An affiliate is a company that we own or control; a company that owns or controls us; or a company that is owned by the same company that owns or controls us.

A
non-affiliated third party is an individual or company that is not an affiliate of ours.

We will disclose the sources of non-public personal information that we collect about our customers. We will also disclose the measures we take to ensue protection of information.

The Information We Collect
We collect non-public personal information about you from the following sources:
 • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
 • Information about your transactions with us;
 • Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties;
 • Information from a consumer-reporting agency.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about you to any non-affiliated third party unless authorized by you or we are authorized to do so by law. In order to better serve you, we may disclose non-public personal information about you with our affiliates as permitted by law.

What We Do With The Information We Collect
We primarily use the non-public personal information you provide to us to evaluate your creditworthiness or prevent fraud. We also use the information to offer you special products and services that we believe will be helpful to you.

The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Non-public Personal Information
We restrict access to non–public personal information only to employees, who are trained in the handling of customer information, and who have a need to know this information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your non-public personal information.

Nonpublic Personal Information and Non-affiliated Third Parties
Since we value our customer relationship with you, we will not disclose your non-public personal information to non-affiliated third parties, except as authorized by law.

Non-public Personal Information and Former Customers
We do not disclose non-public personal information about former customers, except as authorized by law.
